Sarah Collier is a DELTA-qualified English language teacher, experienced CELTA trainer and international teacher educator with around 20 years of experience in EFL/ESL, teacher development and curriculum design. Her work has included General English, English for Academic Purposes, ESP, exam preparation, teacher development and CELTA training in face-to-face, online and blended settings.
From 2017 to July 2026, Sarah worked as a CELTA Trainer at Swansea University, delivering full-time, part-time and online programmes as both a Main Course Tutor and Assistant Course Tutor. She led training teams, chaired standardisation meetings, delivered live online input, observed and assessed Teaching Practice, and provided clear developmental feedback. She also taught EAP, General English and ESP at Swansea University from 2008 to July 2026.
Through Collier English, Sarah brings these strands of her experience together: supportive, personalised English language tuition for learners; practical professional development for teachers and ELT organisations; and experienced CELTA training support for course providers. She has particular strengths in communicative methodology, digital delivery and practical developmental feedback.
Sarah completed her Swansea University roles in July 2026 and is now available for freelance English-language provision, teacher development and programme delivery.
